Description
This is Josiah's grandmother's very popular "green salad". It is a holiday favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 c boiling water
- 1 cn crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
- 2 c creamy cottage cheese
- 2 T horse radish
- 1 c Miracle Whip
- 1⁄2 c chopped nuts
- 2 pk 3 oz lime jello
Instructions
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add reserved pineapple juice and chill until slightly thickened. Beat until frothy. Fold in remaining ingredients. Chill until set.

This recipe was made may times by my Mother Ruth Flaherty. Sadly we lost her recipe file box after she died 1 1/2 years ago. She found this in an old Betty Crocker Cookbook (abt.1960) listed as "Pacific Lime Mould".
