There is a zoo not far from where we live now that I have really enjoyed. For the price of a movie you can walk around and be inspired by God's creation instead! Today we had some free time and so Josiah and I took Elizabeth. It was his first time and my third (the mom's group I'm in goes about once a month). For being a small zoo they have a plenty of animals to discover and see up close. It is surrounded by a game preserve and the drive in and out is beautiful. Today we got an up close view of the wolves, which are usually hiding. They have swan, ducks, horses, prairie dogs, owls, a lynx, an otter, camels, emu, deer, llamas, sheep, peacocks, a macaw and more! They also have a lot of little things for kids to do: feed animals at the petting zoo, dig for "bones" in a sand box, wagon and pony rides (extra cost), and explore a wolf habitat and a teepee. If you are ever in the Lehigh Valley area, it's definitely worth checking out!
