I've been focusing more on prayer lately, especially around the area of our finances. We've seen that our greatest support comes from family and friends, and we've contacted these folks and many have been very generous in making this ministry possible. What a joy it is to share in this with all of you. You also know that we've spent much of our deputation time contacting churches that we don't personally have a relationship with, but FIM does in some manner. This has proven fruitless so far and I was starting to get confused, which drove me back to prayer.

I'm confident that God has placed us in this ministry, but how is He going to fill the needs that we have? How can I make sure my wife has glasses that actually work? How can I plan for Elizabeth's future if we're just scraping by? Yet again, God shows me that He is in control. He has laid it on the hearts of people making this ministry possible already to increase their support. We are now at 66% pledged support! It is good to see an increase after a time of many months without an increase.

In addition to all this, we heard from our Key Accountability Partner church that they are sending over a gift of $1500 on top of our regular financial support. Others have also given special gifts in this way, one is even a missionary that we've been working with. What an unexpected and appreciated show of support for our ministry.

Praise God with Me! He has seen to it that a booster shot to my support discovery faith is given right when I need it.
