Video: A Day in the Life of Josiah

It can be difficult to tell people what my typical day looks like. This video is meant to clarify this some for people. Admittedly, we crammed a lot into my day. The video captures some of the highlights of a few different days over the course of a week. Missionary visits, website work, fixing copiers and answering various missionary questions through the use of email, skype, bomgar and face to face pretty well sums up the majority of my tasks in a day.

Rachel did a great job photographing the stair sequences and some other things. We hope you enjoy it.

Nice job, Josiah!! :)
I think I may check out Vimeo as well. ;)

Vimeo has the distinctive of allowing HD quality video. I find it less cluttered than YouTube also. Glad you liked it. It was Rachel's idea and mostly her photography, especially on the stair sequences.

Josiah;

Good blog, bless your work, and I'm praying for you and your mission. In the event you are interested, there is a group--Church IT Round Table--for IT geeks in their churches, whehter volunteer or staff. We talk a lot about other stuff, but when problems arise we have each other as a 'team'. The website is at http://www.citrt.org/ and we can be found in IRC on freenode (irc.freenode.net) under the moniker of #citrt.

In Him;

Dwayne S.

Thanks Dwayne :-)

This adds a new dimension to the quote, "Oh, Pooh!"

Thanks? :-)

great presentation. I my steal your idea...or at least use Vimeo. I've had it bookmarked for ever and have been meaning to play around with it.

By the way, you forgot to include in your day "answering stupid questions about Drupal from a guy who is too lazy to Google the answer."

lol, I tried to minimize the tedious elements of my job. :-)

Seriously though, working with you is exactly the type of thing I am drawn to due. Training missionaries in the use of tech is an important part of facilitating relationships.

Oh, and please steal my idea! That would be another awesome step towards our vision statement. :-)
