Thanks to all responsible for ICCM

The three of us attended ICCM this last long weekend. Flying was eventful. Thanks goes to United Express for canceling our first flight and neglecting to get our luggage on the last flight. Just the same, we made it and met many new friends. It was my first time to speak face-to-face with some I'd know for awhile now. Tim instructed a class that Nathan and I took several years ago together on computer security through the Internet so it was fun to reconnect with them.

The Taylor IT staff did an amazing job of getting everything put together for ICCM, protecting us from Tornadoes and providing encouragement. So many others work hard on various other elements as well.

Keynote Speaker, Ron Fleming challenged and encouraged us in many things. The reminder that God is the greatest technologist of all and that he sometimes see fit to break things for his purpose was appreciated. In those times God may be doing many things, but I appreciated the connection of it with prayer. Perhaps when things break God is simply reminding me that I need to depend on him and wants me to come to him in prayer.

I've become increasingly convinced that one of the biggest front line for missions is the Internet. It can be difficult to physically interact with someone in the privacy of their own home, but on the Internet, you can do so while sitting in your own home.
